Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR NAME], [BUSINESS ADDRESS], which operates HusayCert. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HusayCert.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or have a parent or legal guardian's consent.
• Use your real name — it's printed on your certificates. One account per person; don't share your account or take an exam for someone else.
• Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

3. Purchases

• Prices are in Philippine pesos (₱) and shown before you pay.
• Buying a level unlocks that exam; a topic bundle unlocks all of its levels; a subscription unlocks every exam while it's active. Each includes retakes until you pass, and a certificate when you do.
• Subscriptions renew at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the current period ends.
• Certificates you've earned stay yours after a subscription ends.

4. Exam rules

Every exam runs under these rules:

• Stay in full-screen. The exam runs in full-screen mode. Pressing Esc or exiting full-screen in any way ends the exam.
• Don't switch tabs, windows, or apps. Opening another tab, window, or application — even for a second — ends the exam.
• Keep your cursor on the exam. Moving your cursor off the exam screen (for example, onto a second monitor) ends the exam.
• Don't close or reload the page. Closing, reloading, or navigating away mid-exam ends it — your progress can't be resumed.
• Every question is timed. From 30s to 120s per question — easier questions get less time. You can go back to a question only while it still has time left.
• No answers during the exam. You won't see whether an answer was right until you get your final score.

Breaking a rule immediately ends the attempt as a fail and locks you out of that exam. Violations are detected automatically and logged against your account. If a lockout was an honest mistake, you can ask us to review it (see section 5); if we agree, we'll lift it so you can retake.

Exam questions are confidential. Don't copy, record, share, or publish them, and don't use other people, tools, or automated software to answer them for you.

5. Refunds and lockout reviews

• Full refund within 7 days of purchase, as long as you haven't started an exam with it. For a subscription, that means no exam was started during it.
• Once you've started an exam with a purchase, it isn't refundable.
• Lockouts aren't refunded. You can ask for a lockout review instead.
• To request a refund or a review, email support@husaycert.com with your order details (and, for a review, the exam and what happened).

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Philippine consumer protection law.

6. Certificates

• A certificate shows that you passed a HusayCert exam at a given level, on a given date, with a given score. It is not a government license, an academic credential, or a certification from the makers of the tools covered.
• Certificates don't expire, and each one has a public verification page.
• We may revoke a certificate obtained by breaking these terms — for example, by cheating or by someone else taking the exam. A revoked certificate is removed and can no longer be verified.

7. Referrals and discounts

• Referral rewards are credited to your in-app wallet when someone you referred makes their first paid purchase. Wallet credit can only be used on HusayCert and can't be withdrawn as cash.
• Don't create accounts to refer yourself or abuse discount codes. We may reverse rewards or discounts obtained that way.

8. Acceptable use

Don't:

• try to get around the exam rules, timers, rate limits, or payment;
• access other people's accounts or data, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission;
• scrape the site, or overload it with automated requests; or
• use HusayCert for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close accounts that do.

9. Our content

The exams, questions, certificate designs, and the HusayCert name and logo belong to us. You may share your own certificates and their verification links freely.

HusayCert is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of the tools and technologies it covers. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep exams accurate and the service available, but we provide HusayCert “as is” and can't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that a certificate will lead to a job or a client. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [CONFIRM WITH LEGAL REVIEW]

11. Changes and ending your account

We may update these terms; we'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or on the site. You can stop using HusayCert at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
